Shree Narendra Modi, Our India PM Visit Jammu and Kashmir

Our India's PM, The Prime Minister Shree Narendrabhai Modi visited Jammu and Kashmir on 4th July 2014. During his visit he dedicated Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Udhampur railway line to the Nation. He also flagged off the 1st train from Katra to Udhampur. Later he dedicated 240 MW Uri-II hydropower project to the nation.

The PM addressed Army personnel at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar. He lauded the courage, valour & sacrifice of our Army and said that it fills every India's heart with pride.

On his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the PM stated that he dreams of a prosperous J&K and talked about winning people's hearts through development. The PM added that the Government would carry forward the process of a Jammu and Kashmir 's development that was started by Atal ji.
